‘Dusty and confused’ snake took out of vacuum after it got drawn within, video reveals

A snake handled to endure after it was swallowed by a much bigger snake-like things: a vacuum.

The event took place at a home in Australia, and a snake catcher was required help.

“So just when you think you’ve seen it all in this job, someone calls you and says their wife has sucked a snake up with the vacuum cleaner,” the Hervey Bay Snake Catchers, a Queensland business, said in a May 4 Facebook post.

A video published by the business reveals a man taking apart a vacuum outside the home to look for the flaky animal.

After tearing open the vacuum bag, he can be seen pulling a little snake out of under a stack of dust and particles.

“Poor little guy. I bet that sucked for you,” he said while holding the animal by its tail. It was determined as a just recently hatched yellow-faced whip snake.

The snakes are discovered throughout the majority of Australia and can mature to 3 feet in length, according to the Australian Museum. While poisonous, they aren’t thought about hazardous to human beings.

“I was afraid that we were gonna open it up to a dead snake,” the man said in the video. “They’re pretty tough little buggers.”

The snake was unharmed — simply “a little dusty and confused,” according to the post.

“I’m tempted to just pick him up and hold him … especially after that ordeal,” the man said prior to positioning the small reptile into a box identified threat VENOMOUS SNAKES.

The man, determined as Drew Godfrey, informed 9news.com.au that individuals typically have the incorrect impression of snakes.

“It’s scarier to think of a world without snakes than a world with snakes,” he informed the outlet.

McClatchy News connected to Hervey Bay Snake Catchers for remark and is waiting on an action.
