Secret Harbour residents had been left asking a dugite water you doing there? when the snake was noticed wrapped round a drink fountain faucet.
The snake was noticed by a neighborhood resident who posted a photograph on The Real Residents of Secret Harbour on Tuesday.
Measuring about one metre the dugite was discovered at Oasis Park which is nestled amongst dozens of properties.
Residents had been shocked by the photograph, with one tagging mates and writing: “You need to move asap!”
“Shut the front door WTAF!” one other added.
“You guys living in the bloody wild over there!” a 3rd wrote.
“Thirsty nope rope,” one other joked.
However, the reptile hadn’t taken up residence within the fountain as a result of it was thirsty.
In the feedback one other resident revealed that sadly the snake was really lifeless and had been placed there.
