Around two dozen snakes, together with one that’s 17ft lengthy, have been discovered lifeless in rural Wales.
They had been all discovered dumped together with a street in Waterston, Pembrokeshire, alongside 4 lifeless chickens.
The RSPCA stated it was one of many worst circumstances they’ve ever come throughout.
RSPCA inspector Keith Hogben stated: ‘The snakes ranged from 1ft to 17ft in length and were all in various forms of decomposition.
‘I believe all the snakes are of a constrictor type.
‘There were also four dead white chickens found alongside the snakes that I believe were most likely food for the larger snakes.
‘I think I can honestly say this is one of the worst things I’ve handled in 25 years.
‘It is very sad to think that these poor snakes could have been suffering for some time.
‘This must have been awful for the person who found them.’
Post-mortem examinations have now been organised for the snakes and the RSPCA is finishing up an investigation to find out the place they got here from.
Anyone with data is urged to contact the RSPCA inspectorate attraction line.
