An enormous boa constrictor snake was found at a well known Belfast walking route on Sunday afternoon.
A pair visiting Cave Hill within the north of town have been shocked after they got here throughout the South American Boa whereas out for a leisurely stroll on the weekend.

Lindsey Adams from the volunteer group praised the actions of those that noticed and reported it, because it saved the snake from close to sure demise.
“I live quite locally to the area so I went up to see what I could do after seeing it on social media,” Lindsey stated.
“Thankfully as I received there a gentleman approached and stated he would save me the walk.
“He handed me the snake in a bag, fortunately it was a gentleman who retains snakes himself so he was assured dealing with it and he had introduced a pillowcase with him to catch it in.
“It was not a very pleasant evening last night and a snake doesn’t produce its own body heat, so a night out in that heat would have been a death sentence.”
The snake is now recovering in Lindsey’s rescue shelter, with the group hoping to return the snake to its house owners.
“I put it straight into the automotive and into the warmth, then right into a safe tank at our facility.
“We’ll hold it protected right here and hold it heat and fed for a month to provide an proprietor an opportunity to come back ahead and declare it.
“If after a month no person comes to assert it we are going to begin our personal rehoming course of as it is going to be thought of deserted at that time.
