Locals at Care UK’s Invicta Court, on Gidd’s Pond Method Maidstone got to get up near a myriad of uncommon animals as part of a specialised animal treatment.
As part of the ‘program and inform’ workshops, led by ZooLab, citizens were informed realities about the strange and fantastic animals and were offered the possibility to manage them.
The effort is currently having a favorable impact on citizens– particularly those coping with dementia– and the home is wanting to set up more sees in the future.

“You could see from the residents’ reactions just how engaged and fascinated they were by the chance to get so close to a variety of such wonderful creatures.
“Every visit brings its share of surprises, and we never know which animal will come through the door – we’re all looking forward to welcoming the Zoolab team again very soon.”
