A Brit celebrating her fortieth in Cyprus spent her milestone birthday vacation in emergency after being bitten by a lethal snake.
Sam West from Shifnal Shropshire was marking her fortieth birthday with a vacation in Cyprus along with her spouse Kate when the snake attacked.
West was about to participate in an outside meditation session within the resort’s floor on April 3 when she was bitten on the leg by a blunt nosed viper.

She stated she was about to step on to the meditation platform on the Atlantica Aphrodite Hills resort when the 1.5m-long viper bit her.
“It shortly, earlier than I had time to react, bit me simply above my left ankle,” she stated. “I began to shake the snake off as I shouted that I had simply been bitten by a snake.
