A caller to Nicky Campbell’s BBC Radio 5 Live present has fumed at Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and praised Suella Braverman.

The caller, often known as Trisha, rang in to indicate her assist for the previous Home Secretary who was sacked on Monday and changed by James Cleverly.

She mentioned Mr Sunak had “proved himself to be the absolute snake that he is” and that he was “not doing what he said he would do”.

Trisha went on to say that Ms Braverman has been preventing a battle since her first day in workplace and he or she is “only saying what a lot of this country are thinking”.

Trisha added that she believed the nation was turning into much less protected each single day.

She mentioned: “What are we supposed to do and just let these people take over London every weekend and they’re marching again today? Most of them don’t even know what they’re marching for.”

When requested by Mr Campbell whether or not she would vote for Ms Braverman to change into Conservative Party chief she mentioned sure as a result of “she’s got the bottle to say what needs to be said”.

Trisha’s feedback come the day after Ms Braverman wrote a scathing letter to Mr Sunak following her firing as Home Secretary.

In the letter, she accused Mr Sunak of breaching “certain conditions” which allegedly fashioned a part of her settlement to change into Home Secretary.

She wrote: “This was a document with clear terms to which you agreed in October 2022 during your second leadership campaign. I trusted you.

“It is generally agreed that my support was a pivotal factor in winning the leadership contest and thus enabling you to become Prime Minister.

“For a year, as Home Secretary, I have sent numerous letters to you on the key subjects contained in our agreement, made requests to discuss them with you and your team, and put forward proposals on how we might deliver these goals.”

Ms Braverman added: “I worked up the legal advice, policy detail and action to take on these issues. This was often met with equivocation, disregard and a lack of interest.

“You have manifestly and repeatedly failed to deliver on every single one of these key policies. Either your distinctive style of government means you are incapable of doing so.

“Or, as I must surely conclude now, you never had any intention of keeping your promises. Our deal was no mere promise over dinner, to be discarded when convenient and denied when challenged.”

In the hours after her exit from the Cabinet, rumours have swirled that Ms Braverman might try to problem Mr Sunak for management of the get together, however no formal declaration has but been made.
