DEMOW: As a part of the International Snake Bite Awareness Day 2023 on Tuesday, the District Surveillance Unit, IDSP, Sivasagar organized an consciousness assembly at Khemka Matri Sadan, Dolmukh Chariali, Sivasagar.
The assembly was performed by District Surveillance Officer Dr Gayatri Senapati, together with different officers of the District Surveillance Unit, District Media Expert and different medical individuals. In the assembly, Dr Gayatri Senapati elaborately described the significance of consciousness of snake bites, their remedy protocol, how an individual must be given first support at home earlier than taking him to the hospital and many others.
