Elaine Kelly discovered the snake outside her south Abingdon home the other day (Wednesday May 3).

She said: “It’s been living under my shed for a variety of months now today it’s getting warmer is coming out to sunbathe.

She included: “I think it’s the exact same one that I initially saw last September on a hot warm day.

“I saw a frog on my phony turf yard and believed it was uncommon then my friend found the snake slide out of the garden, stalking the frog which I relocated to a safe location just to see it get another one minutes later on in the bush.

“Then I don’t keep in mind seeing it once again. But the other day I was watering the garden and it all of a sudden appeared in between the bluebells and slipped under my shed.”

Ms Kelly said she wished to transfer it to a safe location as she has a rescue dog and fears one of them will wind up getting hurt.

“I understand they don’t always bite however who understands if sensation threatened?” she said.

“My other issue is they can lay in between 10-40 eggs in June which hatch around August/September time.

“So I don’t desire a family of them as they might wind my dog up. He already senses something and smells that location a lot. ”

Ms Kelly went to take a look at it today (Thursday, May 4) and it was indulging in the sun in the bluebells once again.

She said: “Once it found me it crawled back under the shed. A number of hours later on it popped it’s go out, saw me and returned.”

If you can take the snake, contact us and we will hand down your information.
