TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A 1.5-meter long snake was eliminated from inside the hood of a parking lot outside a house in Nanzi District, Kaohsiung City on Sunday (April 2).
The Cueiping Police Station of the Kaohsiung City Police Department got a report at around 4 p.m. on Sunday that a snake was spotted inside a parking lot on Jiaren Road in Nanzi District, CNA reported. The station dispatched officers to the scene and informed the Agriculture Bureau and other systems to get ready for a snake hunt.
People in a neighboring coffee bar initially experienced a huge snake crawling into the hood of a sedan. Officers called the car’s owner to the scene and at one point, the snake slipped out of the car, however authorities made sounds to require the snake to wriggle back in.
According to the Nanzi Precinct, the snake hunter sent by the Agriculture Bureau might not find the snake in the beginning. Later, helped by flashlights, the snake hunter lastly captured the snake. Preliminary examination of the snake showed that it might be a poisonous cobra, per CNA.
