San Diego authorities shared a video of a strange event in which a burglar picked up a minute to passionately pat a golden retriever prior to taking its owner’s $1,300 electrical bike.
In the video the man can be seen getting in a lit and open garage prior to trying to stealthily wheel away the pricey bike – however prior to he could, he was dropped in the friendly dog.
The burglar might be seen wheeling the bike back into the garage, putting it on its stand, and beginning to rub the dog’s stomach while informing it: ‘You’re the coolest dog ever!’
The wholesome minute did not hinder the burglar, who quickly went back to business and stolen the bike.
San Diego Police Department Lt. Brian Brecht explained it as a ‘really distinct circumstance.’

‘He instantly returns in, parks the bike and begins having fun with the dog.’
The event took place at around 10.40pm on July 15 on Diamond Street in the Pacific Beach location of San Diego.
The burglar was using a blue and white hat, gray t-shirt, blue shorts, and orange athletic shoes. He was bring a black and blue knapsack at the time.
The burglar likewise mentioned the theft, informing the dog: ‘Where’s your daddy? Your daddy needs to not leave the garage door open.’
‘You got excessive s**t, how do you have a lot s**t in your house? Why do you have all this things? Dude, you may be the coolest dog ever.’
He then wheeled the bike off prior to getting on the saddle. After stopping briefly to expect around 10 seconds, the dog then pursued the burglar and left the video camera’s field of vision.
In a declaration accompanying the video footage, San Diego Police kept in mind that the bike had a number of distinguishing characteristics.
‘This isn’t your typical bike, it stands out, including ‘8-ball’ caps on the tire valves, an ‘8-ball’ logo design on the frame, and a rear wheel frame marked with a checkered black and white pattern,’ it checked out.
