A toddler died after being attacked at home by the household’s canine on Tuesday evening.
Spokane Police Department spokesperson Julie Humphreys stated officers responded to the home in north Spokane close to East Walton Avenue the place they carried out first help earlier than ambulance crews arrived to whisk the kid to the hospital.
Family members tried to guard the kid, severely injuring the canine that needed to be euthanized by law enforcement officials on the home.
The canine attack was not associated to Halloween trick-or-treating, in keeping with police.
Police haven’t recognized the kid or the household.
SCRAPS has taken custody of the canine’s physique.
