Anaheim cops on Thursday jailed a lady operating at a dog day-care center on suspicion of abusing animals at the business.
Orange County Animal Care informed cops Wednesday about claims of animal abuse at a dog “hotel” in the 4500 block of E. Eisenhower Circle. The business, which cops did not recognize, reported the abuse to the county.
A cops examination revealed that day-care center staff member Michelle Navarrete, 24, of Fountain Valley had actually abused dogs under the business’ care, authorities said.
Navarrete was booked at the Anaheim Police Department Detention Facility on suspicion of felony animal abuse. She was launched after publishing $20,000 bail.

Detectives said Navarrete had actually been used at the day-care center for about 3 years. Officials are examining the number of dogs might have been hurt.
Anyone who has more info about Navarrete or who thinks their family pets have actually been abused at the daycare is asked to get in touch with investigators at (714) 328-8153 or through Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) 847-6227.
