Authorities are investigating the tragic loss of life of an toddler in Woodbridge who was apparently attacked by the household’s canine, in accordance with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police responded to a name round 6:17 a.m. Saturday at a Mereline Avenue residence within the Avenel part the place officers discovered an unresponsive child believed to have been attacked by the household’s canine, the Prosecutor’s Office mentioned.
The mom and baby have been significantly injured by the canine, and the newborn was pronounced useless on the scene, the Prosecutor’s Office mentioned. The mom and father have been taken to the hospital for remedy.
