I don’t understand how the bulk feel about the hotdog including the stands at Citizens Bank Park, however I understand it’s a controversial subject on the World Wide Web. Some individuals dislike it (primarily the olds):
Others don’t appear to actually care (primarily the youngs). As long as you’re not tossing anything on the field and stopping play, I’m cool with it. People forget from like 2006-2011 the park was a lot of mongrels doing this very same thing on DDN, puking on childrenand getting tased on the field prior to the Phils turned it into a play ground and began promoting a family-friendly environment.
Now individuals think the Phillies are going to cancel DDN permanently because of safety issues, and if they do, I simply hope they keep in mind the only person to ever hurt someone with a hot dog was a Phillies employee. From the videos I’ve seen, these recent events are simply a lot of individuals sharing dogs with others and nobody enjoys sharing dogs with others more than me:

I truthfully didn’t anticipate individuals to follow my lead, however I’m pleased they did. Sharing is caring after all.
Last night, DDN handled a whole life of it’s own when Phillies fans included the wave into it. It was lovely! Anything that can potentially make the wave bearable in 2023 I can support:
Every man, female, and kid came together because minute to toss glizzys! It brought a tear to my eye! We’re on the verge of Civil War and financial collapse and individuals still rallied with their fellow person around a foolish promo offering discount rate meat. If that’s not the concept this nation was established on, I don’t understand what it is.
So will the Phillies cancel it? I’m going to state no. Don’t flip out that there isn’t another one on the schedule right now. They normally don’t schedule another up until the college kids are back at school. I would suggest attempting one in the summer season when individuals are down the coast and college is out to see what the turnout resembles and if there is a more suppressed environment.
At completion of the day, if DDN makes baseball more enjoyable for individuals, who are the Phillies to stop them? Why did you start the promo in the very first location? To load the arena throughout the week when the Phillies drawn. Sorry that they’re (presumably) good now and individuals wish to see them. Are a couple air-borne glizzys actually destroying individuals’s video game experience? Let fans have a good time and get innovative. Like this man who made a huge glizzy tinfoil cock:
Hang it in the Art Museum.
