My canine Bill’s arch nemesis is the postie.

I like getting parcels delivered, however Bill’s barking and snarling point out we’re not on the identical web page.

Each week about 50 postal employees are victims of dog-related incidents, an Australia Post spokesperson instructed ABC Lifestyle.

But worked-up dogs are an issue for households too, with some redirecting their aggression within the home.

We spoke to animal behaviourist Kate Mornement and Tracey Taylor, a canine coach and PhD candidate at The University of Adelaide’s School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, to assist perceive why dogs act this manner, and the way we may help them relax.
