Hallmark Channel‘s holiday slate sunsets on New Year’s Day with the premiere of The Dog Lover’s Guide to Dating. The movie, which stars Corey Sevier and Rebecca Dalton, centers on one man’s quest to befriend the woman of his dream’s dog so they can have the romance he knows they could have if her dog didn’t object.
Sevier plays Simon, the man in question, who hires Alex (Dalton), a dog trainer whose skill could help him figure out how to charm said dog. See, if he can do this then he and Chloe will have it made. However, the more Simon connects with Alex, the more he begins to wonder if he’s looking for love in the wrong place. Maybe Chloe’s dog knows something he doesn’t.
