LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County deputies have arrested a person with a number of warrants from Lexington County Animal Services for the sick therapy and abandonment of animals, mentioned officers.
Justin Keith Allred, 32, of West Columbia was arrested on March 9 in reference to an animal cruelty incident that was reported in early January.
According to arrest warrants from Lexington County Animal Services (LCAS), a canine was on a leash when it was pushed out of a automobile that was touring alongside South Lake Drive.
When the canine was pushed out of the automobile, the leash bought caught within the door and the canine was dragged about one-quarter of a mile by the automobile, in keeping with witnesses.
Then officers mentioned the canine was left on the freeway on the intersection of South Lake Drive and Platt Springs Road because the automobile drove away.
During the incident the canine obtained a number of accidents however has since made a full restoration. Allred was recognized throughout the investigation and warrants had been issued for his arrest.
He was arrested within the West Columbia space by Lexington County deputies after they recognized him whereas responding to a separate incident.
Allred is being held on the Lexington County Detention Center.
