LOS ANGELES, CA — A person jumped into the raging Pacoima Wash within the Sylmar space Monday to attempt to save his canine, however the present proved too robust. He was saved in a dramatic air rescue by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
In the tip, the canine did not want saving.

Bystanders reported seeing the person soar into the water at about 2:45 p.m. Monday whereas attempting to rescue his canine, in line with Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The raging water rapidly carried the person away, and he struggled to remain above the water.
“Crews responded to a number of bridges and access factors down river and positioned the canine, who had managed to swim safely to the sting and escape the rapids,” Prange stated.
“LAFD Air Ops lowered a rescuer into the water, who was capable of seize the affected person, who was nonetheless acutely aware,” added Prange. “They have been hoisted into the plane, and transported to the native hospital by air.”
The man was hospitalized in unknown situation. His canine was taken to a neighborhood shelter for momentary take care of minor accidents.
