Young thugs might be heard “laughing their heads off” as they pelted the door of Heathhall Community Centre with luggage of canine filth.
CCTV footage that captured the disgusting incident has been handed to police. It’s the latest in an extended line of vandalism that the centre committee say is placing the way forward for the ability “at risk”.
Lets supervisor Tizi Irving, 45, stated: “We’ve had the defibrillator destroyed twice, the alarm kicked off usually, children rampaging round on the roof and stones and bricks lobbed at home windows whereas persons are inside. But this latest incident of the canine mess thrown on the door is simply completely soul-destroying.
“We’re worried all of this is going to put people off using the centre.”
She added: “They are frightened and intimidated by these children, who we imagine aren’t any older than S1 children. Parents have to ask their youngsters the place they’re at evening and what they’re doing.
“They are risking the future of a much-loved community centre and we’re at our wits end.”
Secretary Judith Sauberlich, 70, cleaned the door of the building after it was pelted with at the very least 20 luggage of canine mess.
She stated: “The scene I used to be met with was completely disgusting and sickening. It was in every single place. We are offended and annoyed however these children assume it’s hilarious.

“They can be heard laughing their heads off in the CCTV footage. The last thing our users want or need is to be confronted by a group of youngsters giving them backchat. It’s intimidating.”
She added: “We’ve suggested individuals to not strategy the children. That’s our coverage. We will now want to search out the money to pay for additional safety measures together with lighting and cameras.
“It’s just very disheartening when so much effort is put into making the centre a great place for the community.”
