A Christmas Story‘s Flick is lastly getting his repayment, 39 years after Schwartz triple dog attempted him to stick his tongue to the school flagpole.
In a recently launched clip from HBO Max’s upcoming motion picture A Christmas Story Christmas, it’s Flick who triple dog attempts Schwartz to take a sled and make his method down what seems a deserted (and incredibly icy) waterpark slide. As Schwartz considers whether to risk his life for the sake of the attempt, Flick, standing next to Ralphie and Ralphie’s child Mark, eggs him on from below.

Set for release on Thursday, Nov. 17, A Christmas Story Christmas sees Peter Billingsley, now 51, repeat his above-mentioned function as Ralphie Parker, who “go back to your house on Cleveland Street to provide his kids a wonderful Christmas like the one he had maturing,” according to the main logline. “With the very same attention-to-real-life tone of the very first, Ralphie reconnects with youth pals, fixes up the death of his Old Male and plants the seeds for the origins of the cherished vacation classic.”
