CAMBRIDGE, Minn.— A Minnesota veteran is getting attention after he assisted rescue 2 pups that had actually been disposed on a gravel roadway in Cambridge.
Jeff Barrett helped his fiancée, Azure Davis, Executive Director of Ruff Start Rescue, in the rescue effort previously today after the company got a call asking if they might take the deserted canines.
The pups were analyzed by veterinarian techs and the medical director at Ruff Start and were discovered to be malnourished, emaciated, anemic, and plagued with worms and fleas.
