A vet has issued a warning for canine homeowners after a household pet wanted life-saving surgical procedure after consuming corn on the cob.
The corn on the cob was seen as a stable object within the x-ray scan after two-year-old Cocker Spaniel Roman stole the vegetable at his home in Hull, The Mirror reports. Although corn on the cob isn’t poisonous for dogs, it’s indigestible and more likely to trigger a blockage.
