FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – Firefighters with the East Point Fire Department are being praised for saving a resident and their canine from a fireplace on Candlewood Drive.
The fireplace division says it occurred Sept. 15. Upon arrival, they had been instructed that somebody was contained in the building. Lt. Robert Paulus and Firefighter Reginald Etheridge reportedly acted rapidly and rescued an unconscious sufferer.
Another crew arrived and was tasked with rescuing the proprietor’s giant service canine from the lounge space. Lt. Kyle Cooper and Firefighter Terrance Campbell eliminated the unresponsive dogs.
Led by Battalion Chief George Toney, members from every crew instantly initiated emergency medical take care of the unconscious sufferer and the canine.
The sufferer and canine each regained consciousness and had been subsequently transported to applicable medical amenities for additional remedy, with none additional incident.
Other members of the hearth division had been capable of extinguish the blaze earlier than your entire building was destroyed. The harm was restricted to the kitchen and eating space.
