GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A set of twin bros remain in prison today after apparently threatening a dog with a knife simply after midnight Monday. The twins were apprehended after authorities said they reacted to a call from the dog’s owner stating the 2 males approached while intoxicated, and asked if he had any cigarettes or alcohol. After the dog owner informed the 2 males no, authorities declare that the among the 2 males pulled a knife on the dog prior to leaving.
According to authorities, the arrest did not go efficiently as the bros did not go silently.
Law enforcement recognized the 2 suspects as Cody and Cory Yazzie, both 31-year-old males. According to the Mesa County Sheriff prisoner tracker, the 2 males have similar birthdays. Cody Yazzie was charged with felony enormous, daunting a victim, 3rd degree attack, authorities blockage, and withstanding arrest. Police reported that no injuries were sustained by either the dog or the dog’s owner.
