PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A trucker and a dog were killed Friday early morning after a semi turned throughout the interstate south of Pueblo, dropping partway off an overpass.
The rollover took place on the southbound side of I-25 near the Burnt Mill Road exit (mile marker 88). The 18-wheeler was the only vehicle included.
First responders discovered a dreadful scene: The semi was severely mangled in the crash, with the trailer ripped open and the taxi totally over the bridge.
The semi was transporting hamburger patties, which cluttered the crash scene.
Though Emergency Medical Technicians and Flight for Life were called, the driver passed away at the scene. The Pueblo County coroner recognized him Saturday as 33-year-old Denzal Stewart of Bryan, Texas. Stewart was taking a trip with 2 dogs, one which likewise passed away on scene. The other dog made it through and was rescued from the wreckage by firemens. Its condition has actually not been launched.
