VIENNA — Costumed beings, human and canine alike, flocked to the primary annual Trick or Treat for Dogs at Jackson Park Saturday.

The occasion was sponsored by the City of Vienna, Vienna Parks Department, and Crazy Bone Pet Spa in Parkersburg.

Community members introduced their dogs in costume for a fancy dress contest the place roughly fifty dogs had been introduced earlier than a panel of judges, together with Brett Lyons, proprietor of Crazy Bone and Missy Wilcox, Mrs. Holly Days. The winners of the costume contest had been as follows: Cute was received by Betsy, dressed as a witch. Her proprietor is Nina Thronton of Parkersburg. Scary was received by Zola, dressed as Chucky. They are owned by Chase and Megan Marshall of Vienna. Funny was received by Ryder, dressed as a Ghostbuster alongside along with his proprietor Mitchell McCrady of New Martinsville, W.Va. The finest general was Alice, dressed as a bat, owned by Adrienne Burge of Davisville, W.Va.
