Travelers have settled on Acklam Meadow in Middlesbrough.
Images taken from Newfield Crescent on Friday afternoon present that at the very least 5 caravans have been parked on Acklam Meadow, which is positioned a brief distance away from Acklam Shops. The photos present quite a lot of automobiles and deck chairs on the stretch of grass, alongside what seems to be a picket canine cage.
Reports recommend that the travellers arrived at round 6pm on Thursday night – though this has not been confirmed by authorities. Cleveland Police mentioned it’s conscious of the scenario and is liaising with Middlesbrough Council – confirming it had not been made conscious of any particular points associated to the vacationers settling.

Travelers have beforehand been recognized to arrange on nearby Mandale Meadow, close to the A19 roundabout near Whinney Banks. In August 2019, an eviction order was granted after a bunch of autos and caravans moved onto the Middlesbrough magnificence spot.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson mentioned: “Police are aware of this and are liaising with local authority colleagues however we have not been made aware of any specific issues.”
