A traumatised pet proprietor says his canine was stolen throughout a wreckless raid on his Irvine home.
Dylan Healey is desperately interesting to have his pet pooch Callie safely returned, after he claims crooks smashed by his window and snatched the 8-month-old pup.
The patterdale terrier was allegedly seized in a traumatic break-in on at Dylan’s home on Neil Avenue final Friday.
Dylan arrived home to a criminal offense scene with damaged glass overlaying his lounge after a brick was launched by it.
Neighbours had raised the alarm at 11.30pm on Friday, February 2, and when Dylan confirmed up, his valuable pup Callie was gone.
The 22-year-old additionally has one other patterdale terrier, one-year-old Baxter, who fortunately was not taken throughout the alarming incident.
But Dylan has informed how poor Baxter sliced his paws on the damaged glass left behind and needed to be taken to the vet.
The burdened proprietor informed Ayrshire Live: “I obtained a telephone name round 11.30pm final Friday to say that my home had been damaged into and my window smashed.
“When I arrived I heard Baxter crying, he was screaming and wailing.
“I walked up and the police were there and my window had been smashed by a brick. I checked the house and Callie was gone.
“I had to take Baxter to the vet because he had cut his paw on the broken glass. It was awful. They just took Callie and left the other dog in there with all that broken glass.”
Dylan has launched a web based bid to get Callie home, with a number of appeals being shared on social media.
He’s informed how the traumatic occasion has left him determined to maneuver home along with his window nonetheless boarded home.
He added: “I’m terrified, I can barely sleep at night time.
“The entire factor has made me simply need to transfer away from right here.
“I can’t perceive why somebody would do one thing like this. I’m completely raging.
“I just want Callie home. She is only a pup. I really miss her.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Around 11.40pm on Friday, February 2, we received a report of vandalism to a window at a house in Neil Avenue, Irvine.
“Officers attended and it was established that a dog was missing. Enquiries are ongoing.”
