Patrol Officers arrested Joseph Michael Sandersa 34-year-old transient with a felony file, on 4/18/2024 at roughly 6:30 p.m., on costs of kicking a small canine, as seen on a extensively publicized video, in keeping with the Anaheim Police Department.
Sanders was booked into the Anaheim PD Detention Facility for a felony arrest warrant stemming from the incident that occurred on 4/7/2024.
Court information present that Sanders has been arrested and convicted repeatedly on costs of housebreaking, vandalism, receiving stolen property, theft, and home violence.
Sanders pleaded responsible in February 2023 to a felony cost of carrying a loaded unregistered gun in public, and a misdemeanor cost of resisting arrest. He was placed on two years of formal probation and sentenced to 45 days in jail and sentenced to 60 days in jail in June 2023 for violating probation and one other 90 days in jail in February 2024 for one more probation violation.
