The Amadon Family Memorial Bridge in Townsend, Massachusetts.

Townsend police are asking the general public to assist them establish a truck driver who might have deserted a bunch of puppies close to a bridge on Thursday.

The man suspected to have left the puppies close to the Amadon Family Memorial Bridge on the intersection of Main Street and Wheeler Road round 7 p.m. that day, police wrote on Facebook. The puppies weren’t injured, and the suspect was noticed leaving the scene touring west into Ashby.

The man is described as being a skinny white man with brown, crew-cut hair who’s believed to be round 30 years old, police stated. He was seen carrying a yellow high-visibility jacket with writing on the again. The truck is described as being a grey pick-up outfitted with a backrack with two purple working lights.
