A hooligan bit a brave Good Samaritan mum on the arm ‘like a dog’ after she intervened in a neighbour row. The female needed to be referred for cosmetic surgery after Lewis Arden secured his teeth down on her lower arm throughout the disgraceful attack in Stockport.
Arden switched on the female, a mentor assistant, after she saw Arden tossing punches at a neighbour of hers while she was out walking her dog in Edgeley. Manchester Crown Court heard that 30-year-old Arden ‘squared up’ to her after she looked into her neighbour and said: “Do you desire me to f****** punch you?”
He continued to punch her to her upper body, on September 23 in 2015. Unfazed by the raving hooligan, the female, believed to remain in her 40s, safeguarded herself and put Arden in a headlock and dragged him to the ground.

Arden broke complimentary and punched her to the face, knocking her to the flooring, prior to kicking her to the head. She resisted once again, punching Arden who then bit her on the arm.
She shouted at him to stop however continued to sink his teeth into her lower arm. “He was almost ripping her flesh by moving his head whilst his teeth were secured onto her skin,” district attorney Saul Brody said.
Sentencing him to 3 years in jail, the judge, Recorder Imran Shafi KC informed Arden: “It seemed more like an attack by a forbidden dog than it would be by a person. But one needs to question whether even a dog would have acted in the manner in which you did.”
After he launched his grip, Arden started sobbing and declared it was ‘the drugs that were making him act that method’. Arden then began tossing punches towards neighbours who had actually pertained to the female’s help.
When the authorities showed up Arden introduced a disgraceful tirade of racist abuse towards an officer, calling him a ‘P*** c***’ and a ‘unclean P*** immigrant’. The officer’s associates apologised to him on Arden’s behalf.
The mum later on remembered how ‘dreadful and frightening’ it was to see a ‘grown man coming towards her with wild eyes’. She now feels terrified to stroll her dog and has actually had sleep deprived nights. The judge said the female’s brave actions ‘cannot be applauded enough’.
