CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Three Kentucky prisoners are seriously hurt after they were assaulted by a dog, authorities said.
The Liberty Police Department validated it occurred around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said 4 prisoners on work release were cleaning up kennels at an animal shelter when they blurt a pit bull that had actually disappointed hostility prior to.
Officials said the dog “turned aggressive” and pursued all 4 prisoners. Three of them were bitten numerous times and were required to the medical facility to be dealt with for severe however non-life-threatening injuries to their limbs.
The 4th prisoner had the ability to escape without being bitten.
We were informed, when officers showed up, the dog was aggressive towards them, so they put the dog down instantly.
