CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Three Kentucky prisoners are seriously hurt after they were assaulted by a dog, authorities said.
The Liberty Police Department verified it occurred around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said 4 prisoners on work release were cleaning up kennels at an animal shelter when they discharge a pit bull that had actually disappointed aggressiveness prior to.
Officials said the dog “turned aggressive” and pursued all 4 prisoners. Three of them were bitten several times and were required to the healthcare facility to be dealt with for severe however non-life-threatening injuries to their limbs.
