Three dogs needed to be rescued after a home hearth in a Leicestershire village. The animals have been taken to security and given oxygen after affected by the results of smoke inhalation when a blaze took maintain in a kitchen at a home in Burton Overy, south of Oadby.
The incident occurred on Scotland Lane this morning (Sunday December, 24) simply after 11am. Two hearth engines attended from Wigston station after receiving the decision at 11:15am. Firefighters extinguished the hearth with hoses after coming into the building carrying oxygen tanks.
No individuals needed to be rescued from the scene. The reason behind the hearth continues to be unknown in accordance with a spokesperson from the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service. Crews are nonetheless on the scene.
