Bruce Wayne Murphy, 29, is implicated of getting into a Northeast El Paso home prior to 9 a.m. March 1. Murphy presumably fired a weapon in the home, which left a dog injured, according to authorities.
A citizen of the home, 37-year-old Sean Patrick Suniga, then took out his own gun and chance at Murphy, authorities said. Two other locals were home at the time of the tried robbery, according to a news release from the El Paso Police Department.

Murphy ran away the home and was discovered at a crossway “screaming for help” and stating “that he had actually been shot,” according to police. He was carried to a regional medical facility.

Police state they obtained a warrant for robbery of habitation with a bond of $500,000. Murphy will be carried to the El Paso County Detention Facility upon his release from the medical facility.
The Animal Cruelty Investigative Unit, criminal offenses versus individuals investigators and other authorities all reacted to the scene of the criminal activity. The examination into the matter is continuous, according to authorities.

The condition of the hurt dog is unidentified.
