People eagerly waited alongside the building to get some recent ink throughout its yearly tattoo and piercing fundraiser, which helps the animals at All About the Pawza canine rescue heart in Austintown.

“We are attempting to lift funds to keep up shelter, housing, meals prices, vetting prices, simply the basic wants for dogs that we are attempting to get adopted,” All About the Paws, volunteer Angi Westhead mentioned.

Six tattoo artists spent their day etching pet associated tattoo designs on dozens of canine lovers who arrived able to donate money and a number of baggage of pet food.

Westhead informed 21 News that the canine rescue is run strictly by volunteers and all the proceeds from the fundraiser can be used for the care of deserted dogs.

She mentioned the necessity for added funds is extra pressing this 12 months, as they grapple with an awesome variety of strays in search of shelter and nourishment.

“This 12 months has been very tough for canine rescue. We are overwhelmed with the quantity of dogs we are attempting to avoid wasting [and] attempting to get adopted.” Westhead mentioned.

The occasion provides two totally different raffles for patrons who donate to the trigger. The tattoo raffle is one ticket for each 5 kilos of pet food donated unopened, sealed, and non-expired.
The second raffle is a piercing raffle and tickets are available for $5. The extra tickets which are bought the extra piercings and or jewellery can be given away. The occasion runs till 9 p.m.
