A 44-year-old lady was arrested on a cost associated to animal cruelty after three puppies had been present in a Tampa dumpster and later died, in response to police.
Angela Giudice-Burris, of Tampa, was arrested on a third-degree felony cost of aggravated cruelty to animals on Thursday by the Tampa Police Department.
According to police, a witness reported three new child puppies had been discovered “barely alive” in a dumpster at 1512 North Clark St. in late November. The witness stated at the very least two of the puppies had been zipped up in plastic baggage.
The witness took the puppies to the native Humane Society for emergency care, the place they later died, police stated.
A City of Tampa surveillance video captured a suspect car, which led Tampa Police detectives to Giudice-Burris. Police didn’t present additional particulars on the investigation or arrest.
Hillsborough County Animal Control additionally responded to Giudice-Burris’ home and eliminated two grownup dogs from the property, police stated.
