Today is National Take Your Dog to Work Day. For our canine cannon fodders, they get to commemorate this vacation with their partners every day!
Once they finish from the Academy and complete their field training, Delaware State Troopers appointed to patrol flight alone. However, our canine handlers constantly have a partner riding with them who wants to work no matter how cold, hot, wet, early, or late it is.
Trustworthy and trained by the finest, our dogs are the real “Road Dogs” of the State Police. Both they and their uniformed handlers take a trip everywhere daily to serve the residents and visitors of the First State.
