CHELSEA, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont male on Wednesday pleaded innocent to animal abuse charges after video game wardens state inappropriate care left among his canines dead and another in requirement of rehab.
Vermont Fish and Wildlife wardens state Justin MacAskill, 26, of Randolph, owned 2 German shepherds, Ace and Coon.
Wardens state the canines were not effectively taken care of and were kept in a garage where the flooring was covered in dog feces and urine.
They likewise found Coon passed away from hunger and her remains were discovered on the home.
Ace was ultimately taken in by Potter’s Angels Rescue in Barre and rehabbed by Heather Bent.
