RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – A canine assault over the weekend in Rankin County left a sufferer with “significant injuries,” authorities say.
According to the Southwest Rankin Fire Department, they realized of the encounter on Saturday round 7 p.m. after they had been dispatched as a consequence of an individual being attacked by dogs close to W. Mountain Creek Road.
By the time they arrived, the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office was already there, together with some neighbors who had been passing by and who stopped to run the dogs away and shield the sufferer till assist arrived.
Southwest Rankin started administering quick medical care to the affected person, they are saying, and requested {that a} helicopter be launched to move the affected person.
“The patient sustained significant injuries, but was stable at the time,” they wrote in a Facebook publish.
Rankin County EOC, Rankin County Sheriff’s Deputies, Pafford Ambulance and Southwest Rankin FD collectively handled the affected person’s accidents.
The affected person was then taken to the touchdown zone the place PHI Medical obtained and flew them to get additional care.
