Reports of a strong smell originating from a Brick Town house resulted in the bust of a supposed puppy mill.
Authorities state there were 135 canines and 45 felines inside the house on the 100 block of Arrowhead Park Drive. A minimum of 2 canines were discovered dead.
It took around 10 hours for rescuers in hazmat devices to eliminate the animals. The animals were then transferred to a variety of shelters in the location.
Brick Town Authorities Chief James Riccio informed News 12 New Jersey that officers were contacted us to the house Friday at 7:30 p.m. with reports of a possible puppy mill that was being run out of the house. Riccio stated officers went to your home and consulted with the locals.
” They were allowed into your home and discovered an animal hoarding department, inhumane conditions,” stated Riccio.
2 locals by the name of Aimee Lon-Zak and Michele Nize, who ran by the name “Crazy Rescue Ladies” were charged with animal ruthlessness and kid endangerment.
