Just as Dorothy saved Toto from a twister, so too did a group of storm chasers who identified a scared dog in the middle of a tornado Thursday.

Video tape-recorded by storm chaser Jordan Hall revealed the minute when their exploration to track a twister developed into an animal rescue objective.

Hall and his group remained in the southern Oklahoma town of Loco as a line of severe thunderstorms swept through the area.

The video he tape-recorded from the dash of his vehicle recorded pictures of effective wind gusts blowing tree branches sideways and even snapping a couple of. Then, a gray funnel appeared in front of the vehicle.

“Tornado! Right in front of us! Look!” somebody can be heard screaming.

“It’s big time!” another individual said.

As Hall continued to tape the storm, a dog that had actually scampered up from a close-by ditch appeared on the roadway in front of the vehicle.

The animal might hardly be seen initially as particles and dark clouds swirled around it. Then, Hall and his group area the scared animal as it attempted to cross the roadway.

“Dog! Dog! Dog!” somebody can be heard screaming. “Come here, doggy!”

“Come here, puppy dog!” another person said.

The dog hurried towards the guest’s side of the vehiclewith its body slanted somewhat sideways as it attempted to combat versus the wind.

According to Hall, the dog made it to the vehicle securely.

“The dog was shaken up but ok,” he said.

Hall kept in mind that the animal might have originated from a close-by house.
