Melissa’s eight-year-old Elliott, from Stoke-on-Trent, wrote to West Midlands Police and stated he thought nine-year-old PD Sam was “paw-some”.

While the cocker spaniel was settling into household life, Elliot stated it took him somewhat little bit of time for his “new massive brother” to regulate.

Melissa, 32, stated it felt like Sam had all the time been in the home after they adopted him from the drive’s dogs unit in Coventry in November.
