This week on State of Art we’re going over a play about the reality of relationship and a native artist who seeks to the resources that fed her forefathers. First, we speak with Erin Gingrich and Alaska Pacific University Gallery Manager James Temte. Gingrich’s program “Kaviqsaaq Qivliaq-taaq Siññaktut (Red Silver Dreams)” consists of photography and sculpting representing her experiences throughout the 2022 salmon fishing season. We’re likewise signed up with by director Jill Bess and star Gigi Lynch who inform us about Cyrano’s Theater Company’s upcoming production of “Dog Park.”
