PD Vixen was on patrol in Cannock on Saturday evening when officers noticed a person needed for quite a few offences.
Instead of giving himself up when challenged, the person tried to flee his police pursuers within the howling wind and rain. However, Dutch Shepherd Vixen leapt into motion and powered down the pavement, simply catching her prey earlier than he threw away the medication he was carrying.
Officers arrested the person for a number of offences together with possession of Class A medication.
Staffordshire Dogs and Armed Response Unit tweeted about Vixen’s heroics together with an image of the stunning-looking canine staring down the digicam.
They tweeted: “A male was arrested by #S5ARV through the evening within the Cannock space for quite a few offences together with possession of Class A medication.
“This was after he tried to outrun PD Vixen, he didn’t succeed.”
Dog lovers shortly started responding to the police tweet and complimenting Vixen on her profitable shift preventing crime. Within hours the tweet had been shared far and large and seen by 1000’s.

Saturday evening was not the primary time Vixen has helped her crew catch villains, even monitoring down two in a single evening.
