The suspect, who was shirtless, shoeless, and was seen holding a canine in his lap, led officers on a chase that reached speeds of about 19 miles per hour.
When he reached the world of Oxnard Street and Laurel Canyon Boulevard, officers had been capable of field the suspect in after turning right into a car parking zone. The suspect hopped out of the golf cart and tried to flee whereas carrying the canine.
Police stated he then dropped the animal and was finally taken into custody.
