A Sheffield man has been charged with the offence of proprietor/person in control of canine dangerously uncontrolled inflicting harm, following an incident in a metropolis suburb which left a person injured.
54-year-old Thair Iqbal was charged with the offence, in reference to an incident on Handsworth Road, Handsworth on September 19, 2023.
Court papers state that Mr Iqbal is accused of being the proprietor of a canine the proprietor of a canine, specifically a Presa Canario Dog Type breed, which was allegedly ‘dangerously uncontrolled’ and triggered harm to a person on the date in query.
Mr Iqbal has been charged below laws from the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, and he’s now on account of seem at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court at this time (Monday, January 22, 2024).
