A guy whose canines anxious animals in Caithness might deal with a prison term.

Christopher Page confessed being the owner of the canines at Wick Constable Court on Wednesday.

The 53-year-old, of Bronx Home, Scarfskerry, has a previous conviction for the very same kind of offense.

On September 17, in 2015, 2 of Page’s canines, a husky and a German shepherd, assaulted a pigmy goat at Little Croft, Scarfskerry, and among them bit it.

The court hear that on December 5, this year, 2 of the implicated’s canines, an Alsatian and an Akita cross, gone after sheep at Rattar Mains, Scarfskerry and a ewe was bitten and fatally injured.

Constable Lindsay Foulis kept in mind the implicated’s previous conviction and stated the sentence might bring in a custodial term.

Nevertheless, he stated that due to a report he had actually gotten from Highland Council, he would require a background report on the implicated and would consider it prior to passing sentence on January 25.
