The look for a missing out on Fall River dog has actually concerned a terrible end.
According to the mom of the owner, Naya was a service dog checking out from California that left into the intolerable cold on Friday.
“They go everywhere together. Since it’s been painfully freezing outside, she thought it would be best to leave Naya at home while she went to Stonehill College to visit some friends that she hadn’t seen since graduation. Then Naya ran away, into the woods between two houses, and no one has seen her since. We have looked everywhere around the area. We drove around, walked, checked backyards, under cars, walked into the woods – as far as we could. We had neighbors helping, with treats, with their dogs, calling Naya’s name. We called animal shelters, police department, animal control, and left out information but no one has called us, and they are not open yet.”
The search caused a number of posts on social networks amassing numerous shares each, consisting of a post on Fall River Press reporter, wanting to discover the cherished family pet as the owner was sad.
Unfortunately, the ending was not a happy one as the mom broke the news on Facebook that the chihuahua was discovered deceased.
“Unfortunately, Naya survived the past two freezing nights lost in the woods, only to get hit by a car on the highway this morning, by a m********* who didn’t stop nor call for help.💔 Thanks all who tried helping.”
Our ideas head out to Naya’s owner at this tough time.
